Exact museum reproduction of a fine ancient Greek Minoan Pythos.
Our Greek pottery items are handmade in Greece in a small family
workshop using natural quality materials, superb craftsmanship and
attention to detail. They are licensed and modeled after museum
pieces from all over the world and bear the lead seal of authenticity.
This pythos features bulls’ heads and double axes, sacred symbols
to the Minoans, skillfully adapted to the shape by a filling of spirals.
The original was found on the island of Psira close to Crete.
About 1580-1450 BC, Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, Greece.
