Theseus killing the Minotaur. Fine representation of the classical scene. According to the legend, Theseus was sent from Athens to the island of Crete to kill this monster who was the son of queen Pasifae and a wild bull. Theseus chased him into the Labyrinth, killed him and found his way out with the help of the comb of Ariadne, daughter of King Minos of Crete.
Handmade of fine white alabaster stone and coated with a special archaic patina.
