This oinochoe features Hercules being introduced to Olympus. On the left Poseidon, trident in hand watches the scene while in front of him Hermes makes a gesture of welcome. Then follows Athena carrying a shield with a large owl on it. On the right the hero has his sword, bow and his arrows in the quiver, which he carries on his back.6th century B.C.
