Geometric Oinochoe. (more information on Geometric pottery…)
Our Greek pottery items are handmade in Greece in a small family
workshop using natural quality materials, superb craftsmanship and
attention to detail. They are licensed and modeled after museum
pieces from all over the world and bear the lead seal of authenticity.
This oinochoe features a trefoil mouth with discs where the handles join.
Purple used for the bodies of the wild goats. Their head and part of the
underside is outlined, giving to the whole vase a light effect. On the neck
a cable pattern, on the shoulders bars at irregular intervals. Animal friezes
separated by zones of loops. Below an alternation of flowers and lotus buds.
