Grave Stele Girl with Dove

Stele of a girl with a dove from Nea Kallikratia, Chalkidiki, made by a Parian sculptor.

The dead girl wears a Dorian peplos and holds a dove, an iconographic motif known from other funerary stelai of the 5th century B.C.

Dated to 440 B.C. Archaelogical Museum of Thessaloniki
