Thessaly was an important region in Central Greece and one of the major military powers of the Greek world. Warriors from Thessaly fought in the Troijan War under the leadership of Achilles the Myrmidon. Thessaly had a very strategic importance during the Persian Wars and the rise of the Macedonian Kingdom under Philip II.
The helmet is offered with an optional marble stand to create a perfect display piece.
