An exquisite silver Greek Orthodox icon of St. Catherine of Alexandria.
St. Catherine was the daughter of the governor of Alexandrian Egypt, Constas, during the reign of the emperor Maximinus (305-313), and she suffered for her Lord in the year 305. Her feast day is on November 25.
Made of 950o proof silver on a selected timber frame with the painted parts of the icon painted by hand. Exact reproduction of an antique Byzantine masterpiece.
The icon can be 24K gold plated upon request with a small extra charge.
