Exact museum reproduction of a fine ancient Greek Minoan
sharp bottom Amphora. (more information on Minoan pottery…)
Our Greek pottery items are handmade in Greece in a small family
workshop using natural quality materials, superb craftsmanship and
attention to detail. They are licensed and modeled after museum
pieces from all over the world and bear the lead seal of authenticity.
This amphora features an ornamental design of spirals and meanders.
Probably most of these large amphorae were made for the transport
and storage of wine, though many were used also for oil, preserved fish,
pitch and other liquid substances, including water.
