Bronze sculpture depicting the Bull-leaping of the famous Minoan fresco (see https://www.hellenic-art.com/product/bull-leaping-size-1/)
Bull-leaping was the most popular – and dangerous – Minoan athletic event, an acrobatic spectacle in which daredevils toyed with charging bulls. Risking life and limb on their agility, the acrobats would grasp the horns of the onrushing bull and somersault over the animal’s head.
Made of solid bronze.
