An exquisite Greek Orthodox Icon of Our Lady of Good Counsel, handmade & handpainted by an expert Greek hagiographer.

Our Mother of Good Counsel is a Roman Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with a purported miraculous painting of the Madonna and Child enshrined within the namesake Minor Basilica at Genazzano, Italy.

Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques.

The icon bears the artist’s signature on the front and the seal of authenticity on the back.
