Description
The Parazonium (= by the belt) was a dagger carried by Spartans at their belts. It has the characteristic triangular shape of the Laconian swords. This was a vital accessory, as it served both as a last ditch defense weapon as well as a utility knife. (more on Spartan Art of War…)
