An exquisite Greek Orthodox Icon of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, handmade & handpainted by an expert Greek hagiographer.

Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque (22 July 1647 – 17 October 1690), was a French Roman Catholic Visitation nun and mystic, who promoted devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in its modern form.

Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques.

The icon bears the artist’s signature on the front and the seal of authenticity on the back.
