An exquisite Greek Orthodox Icon of Holy Apostle Silas, handmade & handpainted by an expert Greek hagiographer.

Saint Silas (1st century AD) was a leading member of the Early Christian community, who accompanied St. Paul the Apostle on his second missionary journey.

The Greek Orthodox Church celebrates St. Silas on 30 July.

Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques..

The icon bears the artist’s signature on the front and the seal of authenticity on the back.
