A beautiful Orthodox icon of of all the Saints who shone forth in the lands of Britain and Ireland, handmade & hand painted by an expert Greek hagiographer.
The icon of All the saints who shone forth in the lands of Britain and Ireland is a blessing of the annual celebration of their memory on the third Sunday after Pentecost. This feast is in honor of all the saints who lived in England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland until 1054, when most of Western Europe tragically broke away from the One Church.
Throughout the history of Orthodoxy these lands produced no fewer than 950 saints whose names and feast-days are known to us..
Made using traditional materials (selected aged timber frames, egg tempera, 24K gold leaf, natural powder paint and varnishes) and old techniques.
The icon bears the artist’s signature on the front and the certificate of authenticity on the back.
We can have any image or Christian scene hand made on commission. Please take a look at an indicative list of additional icons available, or contact us for more information.
