I purchased this icon for my husband as a Christmas present, and he was surprised and delighted with it. The icon is beautifully hand-painted, with gold leaf applied to the background and burnished, in the traditional manner. Every detail is perfect, and the artwork as a whole is stunning. Ilias Papadopoulos, who led me through the process of ordering the icon and having it shipped from Greece to the US, was helpful in every way. I highly recommend this icon and Hellenic Art.
